FPSB India has signed a MoU with IIM Raipur to Launch Industry-Relevant Executive Programme Integrated with CFP® Certification

Raipur, July 3, 2026: FPSB India, the Indian subsidiary of Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB), USA, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur to co-create an industry-relevant Executive Programme in Financial Planning integrated with the globally recognised CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
The 11-month Executive Programme will bridge the industry-academia gap, building future-ready competencies, develop ethical and client-centric financial planning professionals equipped to meet the evolving needs of the financial services sector. Combining the academic excellence of IIM Raipur, the Executive programme will be offered through a blended learning format and integrated with the CFP Certification via the Fast Track Pathway.

Speaking on the MoU signing, Ramesh Vishwanathan, CEO, FPSB India, said, “At FPSB India, we are committed to nurturing professionals who can address the complex financial needs of individuals and families in an increasingly dynamic environment. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director In charge, IIM Raipur and Ramesh Vishwanathan, CEO, FPSB India, in the presence of the key officials from FPSB India and IIM Raipur.

This transformative collaboration between IIM Raipur and FPSB India is set to shape the future of financial planning education in India. This Executive Programme intends to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and strategic perspective needed to excel and address the changing needs of the financial services industry. Designed for ambitious professionals, the programme bridges theory and practice to create future-ready leaders in financial planning.

The MoU underscores IIM Raipur’s vision to foster interdisciplinary and industry-oriented partnerships that enhance the relevance, rigour, and practical applicability of management education. Through this collaboration with FPSB India, students will gain exposure to globally recognised financial planning standards, while faculty members and researchers will engage with emerging developments in financial planning, wealth management, and behavioural finance.
