Westlake Village, Calif. - Getting clean drinking water shouldn't mean lifting heavy water jugs, waiting for a delivery, or making another trip to the store. EZ Jug™, a water filtration brand from Zeta Technology Group, Inc., is introducing the EZ Jug Filtration System, a faucet-connected filter that lets people fill their own 3- and 5-gallon water cooler jugs at home.

The system connects to a standard outdoor hose bib or most indoor faucets with a removable aerator. It can be set up without tools in about a minute, giving families a simple way to filter tap water whenever they need it.

A Simpler Way to Refill Water Cooler Jugs

For families that use several water cooler jugs each week, buying and refilling them can quickly become both expensive and inconvenient. Pre-filled jugs are heavy to carry, while regular tap water may have an unwanted chlorine taste or odor.

EZ Jug offers another option. Instead of buying another filled jug, users can bring an empty 3- or 5-gallon bottle home, connect the filter to their faucet, and fill it with filtered water.

There is no delivery subscription to manage and no need to repeatedly carry full jugs home from the store.

Simple Setup, Straightforward Use

Using the EZ Jug system is designed to be simple. After connecting the filter to a compatible faucet, users run water through the filter briefly to purge it. The jug cap can then be connected to a standard 3- or 5-gallon water cooler bottle for filling.

The filter is rated to treat hundreds of gallons of water before replacement. EZ Jug recommends replacing the filter approximately every six months or around the 1,000-gallon mark. Users should also replace it sooner if they notice reduced water flow or a change in taste.

Independent Testing Behind the Filter

EZ Jug has had its filter media evaluated by accredited third-party laboratories rather than relying solely on internal testing.

According to the company's test results, the filter achieved more than 97% chlorine reduction under NSF/ANSI 42 testing, along with 99% lead reduction and 99.99% cyst reduction under NSF/ANSI 53 testing. Material safety testing also found no harmful metal or organic compound leaching from the filter media.

The media is additionally classified as non-hazardous under GHS/SDS safety standards. EZ Jug has made its full laboratory test report available through its website for customers who want to review the testing details.

The EZ Jug™ system also reportedly has three international patents pending, including filings in the United States and China.
