Announcing the programme, Ms. Jyotika Kalra, President of SRS, said, "Confident communication opens the door to higher education and good jobs. Through this training, we want every student, whatever their background, to speak with confidence at interviews, at work and in everyday life."

Education poses challenges for many, but these challenges are even greater for students with disabilities such as visual impairment and for those from underprivileged backgrounds. SRS aims to ease this burden by providing monthly scholarships of Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000 to students with visual disabilities and students from economically weaker sections, whose fathers often work as farmers, security guards, rickshaw pullers or daily wage labourers.

SRS's support goes beyond financial aid. It mentors these students and helps them build essential skills in communication and personality development, preparing them for a brighter, self-reliant future, and guides them towards meaningful careers and employment opportunities.

About Saksham Rozgar Society

Saksham Rozgar Society (SRS) supports students from economically weaker sections and students with disabilities through monthly scholarships, mentoring and skill-development training and job placement. All its training programmes are provided free of cost, and SRS does not receive any government funding for its work.
