This Diwali, Handpickd Partners with Gulmeher to Bring Women Artisans’ Craftsmanship into the Festive Spotlight

New Delhi, November 4th, 2026: Handpickd, India's zero-stock fresh-commerce platform, has partnered with Gulmeher, a Delhi-based not-for-profit foundation working to create sustainable livelihoods for women waste-pickers and women from marginalized communities, as part of its Diwali campaign. Through the collaboration, Handpickd will feature a curated selection of Gulmeher's Diwali products on its platform, bringing greater visibility to the artisans and the story behind these products during the festive season.

Gulmeher works with women artisans to create eco-friendly products using discarded flowers, recycled paper, and fabric waste. Established in 2013 in Ghazipur, Delhi, the initiative focuses on transforming waste-pickers into skilled artisans by providing hands-on training, fair wages, and a dignified, sustainable source of income.

As part of the collaboration, Handpickd will feature Gulmeher's festive creations on its app, including the handcrafted Summer Dance Diya Set, Kamal Toran, Genda Toran, Earth's Own Rangoli Colour, and the Diwali Jyoti Gift Box. The campaign celebrates the skill of Gulmeher's artisans, making it easy for consumers to bring ethical and meaningful products into their homes this Diwali.
