Frisco, TX and Avon, MA, September 15, 2026 -- StaticStop, a division of SelecTech, Inc., will exhibit Sept. 28-30 at the 48th annual EOS/ESD Symposium & Exhibits at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco Hotel & Convention Center, 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive in Frisco, Texas. StaticStop representatives will showcase StaticStop ESD flooring at Booth 40.

The annual symposium brings together engineers, technical specialists, manufacturers and ESD program professionals to examine electrostatic discharge and electrical overstress - and to turn that knowledge into practical solutions for electronic components, systems, equipment and manufacturing environments.

StaticStop President Thomas Ricciardelli brings a second perspective to those conversations. In addition to developing StaticStop flooring systems, he is an active EOS/ESD Association volunteer and chairs the association's Flooring Working Group, WG 7.0.

"At this event, you can talk about a flooring problem in the exhibit hall and then sit down with people who are helping shape the standards behind the solution," said Ricciardelli. "That combination of practical experience and technical collaboration is what makes the symposium so valuable."

Ricciardelli also contributed to the team that developed ESD control guidance for healthcare facilities, including specifications involving flooring and footwear. That work is reflected in ESD TR29.0-01-24, which addresses static-related risks to electronic equipment, electronic records, personnel and contamination control in healthcare settings.

"Static does not stop at the factory door," Ricciardelli said. "Hospitals, laboratories, dental offices and other healthcare facilities depend on sensitive electronics every day. The goal is to give those facilities sound guidance for controlling risk without making the flooring more complicated than it needs to be."

StaticStop offers a full line of ESD flooring products, including patented FreeStyle ESD and SelecTile ESD interlocking tiles, along with glue-down flooring, resinous coatings and cleaning and maintenance products. The systems are designed for electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, healthcare, laboratories and other environments that rely on sensitive equipment and data.

StaticStop's adhesive-free interlocking tiles can be installed over many existing hard flooring surfaces and put down in phases. That can reduce demolition, subfloor preparation and production downtime while giving facilities a durable, serviceable ESD flooring system.
