With the approach of the New Year 2021, aspirants in Rajasthan are gearing up for the upcoming Rajasthan State and Subordinate Competitive Exam. It is popularly known as the RAS exam and is modelled on the lines of the IAS examination. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will be responsible for conducting the exam.

Services under RPSC?s RAS exam include Planning Service, Women, and Child Development, Social Welfare, Rural Development, to name a few. Applications for this exam will be accepted in online mode. The RAS exam date 2021 will be likely in August. Mentioned below are the exam highlights and complete registration process for the exam next year.

1. Go to the website of RPSC - www.sso.rajasthan.gov.in This is the Rajasthan Single Sign-On page.


2. Candidates will have to register themselves first.


3. They will be given options of Aadhaar, Bhamashah, Facebook, or Google to register. Applicants from other states can choose from either Facebook or Google.


4. For an instance, the aspirant selects his/her Google account to register. All required information will be retrieved from the account and processed. The candidate?s SSOID will be created and displayed.


5. On hitting the final Register button, the first step of registration will be complete.

1. Log in with the required credentials and proceed.


2. A Dashboard with several icons will appear on the screen. Select the Recruitment Portal icon.


3. This will lead to a new window showing three sections - My Applications, Notifications, and Ongoing Recruitment. The last section will have the exam applying for enlisted; click on the Apply Now button blinking beside the notification.


4. Some personal information will be asked in this step, like Aadhaar number for Indian citizens or the Passport number for non-Indian citizens. They will then ask for the OTP sent to the registered mobile number. After verification, the necessary details of the candidate will be fetched and recorded. After that, click on Next.


5. Select the preferred post on the Select Post page


6. The Application Form page will have to be filled in four segments ? Basic details, Personal details, Qualification and Experience, Identification, and Enclosure. Aspirants must also upload scanned copies of education and experience certificates or as specified.


7. After confirming the submission of the application form, a preview of the complete application will appear for verification. To make any changes, click on Update or submit clicking on the Final Submit.

After Payment is complete, the application is accepted.

Note : Any modifications in the application form must be done before Payment. Candidates can go to the My Application section of the Dashboard and view or edit their application.

The RPSC 2021 fees must be paid in online mode via net banking, credit or debit card, or other payment gateways.

• A last-minute rush must be avoided to submit the application form; it must be done at the earliest.


• The registration charge is not refundable under any circumstance.


• The login credentials are vital information that must be kept safely; it will be required later to download the admit card.


• The aspirant must have all the necessary documents on the day of the exam along with the admit card.


• It is advised to save the application form in the device?s cloud storage and print out a few copies of it for future use.


• It is important that all claims made or information provided in the application form must be true to the knowledge of the aspirant, and he/she must be able to produce original documents to substantiate the same, if necessary.

RPSC 2021 Hall Ticket can be expected to be released at least 15 days before the exam. Official notification will be announced for the same. The preliminary exam will be of 100 marks with objective type questions. Qualifying in prelims will mean that the candidate can appear for the Mains exam, and after that, for the interview round.
