MAAC Launches Bharat Creator Scholarship to Encourage Aspiring Creators to Pursue Careers in Animation, VFX, Gaming and Digital Design

New Delhi, India, October 2026: Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity (MAAC), a leading training institute in the creative media and entertainment education space, has introduced the Bharat Creator Scholarship by MAAC, an initiative designed to encourage aspiring creators to explore career opportunities across Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Gaming, Digital Design, Filmmaking, Content Creation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The scholarship programme reflects MAAC’s belief that academic marks alone cannot define a student’s creativity, imagination or future potential. By offering eligible students a defined fee benefit on selected courses, the initiative aims to motivate young learners to take their first step towards building creative skills and pursuing careers in the rapidly evolving digital and entertainment industries.

As AI-powered tools, gaming, animation, visual effects and digital content continue to create new opportunities, the demand for relevant creative and technical skills is opening up exciting possibilities for aspiring professionals. Through the Bharat Creator Scholarship, MAAC seeks to encourage students to look beyond their examination results and focus on developing their abilities, interests and career aspirations.

Recognising Potential Beyond Marks

For many students, their Class 10 or Class 12 results can influence their confidence and decisions about further education. The Bharat Creator Scholarship by MAAC seeks to address this by recognising that every student has the potential to develop valuable creative skills, regardless of whether their academic performance fully reflects their abilities.

The programme is designed to provide eligible students with a clear financial incentive to explore selected MAAC courses and take the next step towards their creative ambitions.

Scholarship Benefits and Eligibility

The Bharat Creator Scholarship offers a base scholarship determined by the duration of the selected course and the applicable payment mode. In addition, eligible students who score above 60% aggregate in the applicable Class 10 or Class 12 examination can receive an additional 2% merit-linked scholarship over and above the base benefit, subject to verification of their marksheets.

The scholarship applies to selected courses covered under MAAC’s approved scholarship structure. The applicable benefit depends on course eligibility, duration, payment terms and programme conditions.

The scheme does not apply to B.Voc. and degree courses, the ASUS Laptop Scheme or the Canon Camera Scheme. Students are encouraged to contact their nearest MAAC centre for details of eligible courses, applicable scholarship benefits and enrolment conditions.

Empowering the Next Generation of Creators

Through this initiative, MAAC aims to inspire more students to discover their creative strengths, gain industry-relevant skills and explore opportunities in the animation, VFX, gaming, digital design and content creation industries.

The Bharat Creator Scholarship is built around a simple belief: a marksheet captures academic performance, but it cannot measure the full extent of a student's imagination, curiosity or creative potential.

By combining an education-focused approach with a defined scholarship benefit, MAAC hopes to encourage aspiring creators to move forward with greater confidence and begin building the skills needed for their future careers.

Students interested in the Bharat Creator Scholarship by MAAC can visit their nearest MAAC centre to learn more about eligible programmes, scholarship benefits and admission procedures.
