IBM and Yotta Announce General Availability of Sovereign Agentic AI Platform for Indian Organisations

Bengaluru, India, September 29, 2026: IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Yotta Data Services Private Limited ("Yotta") today announced the general availability of the Sovereign Agentic AI Platform for Indian organisations. It combines IBM's enterprise AI technology with Yotta's sovereign AI cloud and platform capabilities. The platform is designed to enable organisations to deploy AI agents at scale while keeping data, operations and governance controls within India.

Built using IBM watsonx Orchestrate and deployed on Yotta's Shakti Cloud, the platform offers organisations an integrated foundation to deploy, run and govern enterprise AI agents. IBM watsonx Orchestrate is the agentic control plane that gives organizations a way to secure, govern, and manage AI agents as adoption scales across the enterprise. Shakti Cloud provides the compute, GPU infrastructure, networking, security, and operational capabilities required for enterprise AI workloads. In addition, Shakti Studio, Yotta's AI platform for model development and inference, enables organisations to explore, fine-tune, deploy and run open-source and proprietary AI models.
