Giottus launches India’s largest funded wallet challenge

Chennai/Bengaluru, September 17, 2026: Giottus, India’s third-largest crypto exchange, has launched the country’s largest Funded Wallet Challenge, a programme that allows eligible crypto Futures traders to earn access to funded trading capital ranging from ₹200 to ₹1 lakh. Traders retain 100% of eligible realised profits generated through the funded wallet.

The challenge addresses a practical constraint faced by skilled retail traders. A trader may develop a sound strategy long before having the capital required to scale it. The usual choices are to commit more personal money or increase leverage. Both can substantially raise the financial risk. The Giottus
challenge offers another route: demonstrate profitable and controlled trading over a defined period to qualify for funded capital.

The programme does not treat turnover as proof of skill. Trading volume makes a participant eligible for evaluation. Funding is awarded only after the trader demonstrates profitability after fees, limits drawdowns, and avoids liquidation. The assessment also looks for consistency across the 30-day evaluation period.

“India’s Futures market has no shortage of activity. What it needs are stronger ways to distinguish a repeatable trading process from one profitable trade,” said Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus Crypto Exchange. “A trader should not have to take progressively larger personal risks to prove that a strategy works. Through this challenge, disciplined traders can earn access to more capital while retaining the eligible profits they generate. We want to fund trading ability, not an appetite for
excessive leverage,” Vikram said.

Eligible users can activate a ₹200 funded wallet after completing KYC and placing their first qualifying Giottus Futures trade. They can then build a verified record through their own Futures account during a rolling 30-calendar-day evaluation.

The challenge has five performance levels, from Rising Trader to Legend Trader, with funded wallets
progressing from ₹5,000 to ₹1 lakh. At the top level, a trader must record US$10 million in volume across at least 18 active days within 30 days to become eligible for evaluation for a ₹1 lakh funded wallet.

Meeting these volume and active-day thresholds does not guarantee an upgrade. A trader must record a positive realised profit after all applicable fees. Drawdown on the trader’s own account must remain within 15%, with no liquidation during the evaluation period.

The programme also guards against results being driven by a single burst of activity or one outsized winning day. A trader’s largest day cannot account for 35% or more of monthly volume. It must also
remain below 40% of monthly profit. Wash trading, related matching, and bonus abuse lead to disqualification. Once awarded, the funded wallet operates for the following 30-day cycle. Its principal cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Eligible realised profits can be withdrawn after all funded positions are
closed and the required checks are completed. The funded wallet carries a static loss limit of 30% of its opening value. Breaching this limit closes the funded cycle. Traders must qualify again for each subsequent cycle.

The structure is intended to make Futures a more considered tool for wealth creation. Futures allow
traders to take positions in either direction and hedge existing exposure. Yet leverage can magnify an
error as quickly as it can improve a return. Sustainable outcomes therefore depend less on how much a trader can borrow and more on position sizing, loss control and consistency.

An analysis of Giottus activity (for September 2025 till May 2026), found that Futures traders represented 24% of the platform’s active users but generated 57.22% of its trading volume. Average leverage stood at 10x and more than 30% of trades used leverage above 10x. Monthly liquidation
ratios ranged from 0.55% to 2.52%. The study also found that 48% of Futures participants came from
tier-2 cities.

There are encouraging signs of more restrained participation. Women customers (on Giottus) used
average leverage of 7.4x, against the platform average of 10x. Nearly 80% of their trades were placed at 5x leverage. This shows that access to Futures need not be built around maximum exposure.

The Funded Wallet Challenge applies the same principle at the programme level. Higher capital follows demonstrated control. A trader who protects capital and remains profitable across different market sessions has a clearer path to progress than one who relies on a single aggressive position.
Eligible users aged 18 and above can view the complete challenge structure and applicable terms at Giottus Funded Wallet Challenge.
