Accor, InterGlobe Hotels and HOPE Foundation Empower 237 Students Through Vocational Training and Skill Development

New Delhi - Accor and InterGlobe Hotels, in partnership with the HOPE Foundation, a pan-India organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through education, vocational training and healthcare programmes, celebrated the graduation of 237 students from the 2025–26 cohort of their vocational education initiative. The ceremony, held at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, honoured students who successfully completed industry-aligned training programmes in Hospitality, Retail, and Nursing Assistance.

This collaborative CSR initiative is part of a long-standing partnership with the HOPE Foundation, which began in 2012 with the establishment of the Accor Centre of HOPE. The programme was further strengthened in 2017 through the support of InterGlobe Hotels and the continued commitment of the InterGlobe Foundation, further expanding the initiative's reach and impact in empowering underprivileged communities through education, skills development and livelihood opportunities.

The vocational education initiative combines classroom learning with practical industry exposure, offering specialised training in hospitality operations, retail services, and healthcare assistance. Beyond technical skills, the programmes focus on developing life skills, self-confidence, and workplace readiness, enabling young people to build sustainable and rewarding careers.

Since its inception, the initiative has positively impacted more than 4,000 families, trained over 1,000 young people, facilitated more than 900 successful job placements, and achieved an overall placement rate of over 80%. These outcomes reflect the programme's continued focus on transforming vocational education into meaningful employment opportunities.

The 2025–26 cohort recorded strong placement outcomes across all three vocational programmes of the 64 students who successfully completed the Hospitality programme, 61 secured placements. The Retail programme achieved a 100% placement rate, with all 60 students successfully employed. In the Nursing Assistance programme, 98 of the 113 graduating students secured employment opportunities within healthcare institutions.

The graduation ceremony brought together senior leaders from Accor, InterGlobe Hotels, InterGlobe Foundation and the HOPE Foundation, alongside graduates and their families, to celebrate the students' achievements and recognise the collective efforts behind the programme's continued success.

As the initiative enters another year, Accor, InterGlobe Hotels, InterGlobe Foundation and the HOPE Foundation continue their shared commitment to expanding access to vocational education. Together, the organisations aim to equip young people with the skills and opportunities they need to secure meaningful employment and build greater financial independence.
