New Delhi, August 19, 2026 - D2C brands across India are spending more on creator marketing than ever before. Very few actually know whether that spend is working. Most are picking influencers by follower count, running campaigns on instinct, and finding out too late that the audience they paid to reach was either fake, irrelevant, or already saturated by three competing brands. KlugKlug has spent the last 4+ years fixing exactly that problem for some of India's biggest names in consumer marketing. This August, it is making those same tools available to D2C founders across the country for free.

The Klug D2C Growth Program offers complimentary one-month access to KlugKlug, along with three strategic audits worth Rs. 20,000, to a limited cohort of high-growth first 100 D2C brands. The offer closes on 31st August 2026.

KlugKlug already powers influencer intelligence for some of India's most demanding marketing teams: Myntra, ITC, Godrej, Tata 1mg, Xiaomi, Ajio, Minimalist, Innovist, Blissclub, Kapiva, and more. The Klug D2C Growth Program brings this same intelligence to brands that have never had access to it, not because they don't need it, but because nobody built it for them.

In 30 days, a brand gets a complete and honest picture of whether their past influencer investments actually worked, which creators in their category have real audiences worth paying for, what their competitors are doing that they are not, and where the genuine whitespace opportunities lie. The audits are personalised, not templated. The access is complete, not a watered-down demo. And the outcome is simple: better creator decisions, less wasted spend, and campaigns built on evidence instead of optimism.

Speaking on the initiative, Kalyan Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO, KlugKlug, said, "Most D2C brands in India are spending their influencer budgets on instinct and optimism, and that is a waste of precious founder and investor resources. We have been blessed in our interactions with too many Founders in early stages, who have loved us and subsequently recommended us to others. After speaking to our board, we emphatically agreed that we simply had to give early-stage founders the same quality of creator intelligence that the biggest companies in the country have access to. We want to democratize Creator intel for all, starting with this small step of a free offer to the first 100 that reach out to us."

Endorsing the program, Gaurav Agarwal, Co-Founder, Tata 1mg said, "The D2C space in India is at an inflection point. Brands that figure out creator marketing early are the ones that scale fast, and those that don't end up spending more to achieve less. What KlugKlug is doing with this program is removing the single biggest barrier for ambitious founders: access to the right intelligence at the right time. I have seen what data-backed creator decisions can do for a brand, and every D2C founder in India deserves that advantage."

Also endorsing the initiative, Amit Jain, Co-Founder and CEO, CarDekho said, "Influencer marketing in India has a trust deficit, not between brands and creators, but between brands and their own data. Most founders I speak to have no real visibility into whether their creator spends are driving outcomes or just impressions. KlugKlug solves that, and offering it free for a month to D2C brands is exactly the kind of move the industry needs. If you are building a D2C brand and you are not using this, you are making decisions with your eyes closed."

Shantanu, Co-Founder at Kapiva, says, “Kapiva has been with KlugKlug for almost three years, and what’s surprised us is just the many unique use cases we can use the platform for in the influencer space, some very strategic. We’ve trusted their data year after year. It’s not just a platform for us. It’s a brain that sits alongside us.”

As India marks 80 years of independence, its D2C economy is growing fast, and it is no longer a metro story but a Bharat story. Founders across Ahmedabad, Surat, Coimbatore and hundreds of cities like them are building real products for real audiences, yet access to the kind of creator intelligence that drives smarter influencer marketing has largely remained out of reach for them. The regional and vernacular creators who shape conversations in Kannada, Punjabi, Marathi and Tamil, the nano and micro creators with tight, trusted communities that no metro lifestyle influencer can replicate, are where the next wave of D2C brand-building will happen. KlugKlug already tracks over 11 million of such creators across India between Instagram and YouTube. This program gives D2C founders the tools to find and work with them intelligently, many for the first time.

The program is open to a limited cohort of high-growth D2C brands across all categories. The offer closes on 31st August 2026.
