New Delhi, 13th August 2026: Spinny, India's leading full-stack used car retailing platform, has partnered with Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Pusa under the Dual System of Training (DST), an initiative of the Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The partnership aims to strengthen industry connect in vocational education and equip young talent with practical, future-ready skills.

As part of the programme, 24 students from the 2026–2028 Motor Vehicle Mechanic (MMV) batch are undergoing 9 to 12 months of hands-on industry training across Spinny's 15+ Integrated Restoration Centres, 50+ car hubs and 17 Parks across 80+ cities in India. Spinny's Integrated Restoration Centres are state-of-the-art facilities where pre-owned cars and electric vehicles undergo comprehensive inspection, diagnostics, repairs and restoration, supported by some of the industry's most skilled automotive workforce. Students gain hands-on exposure to real-world automotive operations, complementing their classroom learning and building advanced, industry-relevant skills for future technical roles.

The partnership reflects Spinny's long-term commitment to working with government institutions and vocational organisations to bring industry closer to the classroom, build future-ready skills and create meaningful opportunities for young India. By strengthening the connection between education, skills and employment, Spinny aims to contribute to the larger vision of building a skilled workforce for a Viksit Bharat.

Shweta Singh, Senior Vice President, Spinny, said, "Spinny has always been driven with purpose. This partnership gives young people the chance to take what they learn in the classroom and experience it in the real world. We're excited to build this relationship for the long term and create more opportunities for young talent to learn, grow and contribute to a Viksit Bharat."

K.K. Narwal, Principal, ITI Pusa, said, "Students learn differently when they get to experience the industry first-hand. This partnership gives our students that opportunity and helps them build both skills and confidence. The Dual System of Training also equips them with advanced practical skills and prepares them to compete at national and international skill competitions. We're happy to partner with Spinny and look forward to creating more such opportunities together."

The Dual System of Training combines classroom-based learning at Industrial Training Institutes with practical training in industry. The model is designed to strengthen industry linkages, improve employability and help students develop skills aligned with workplace requirements.

Through this partnership, Spinny and ITI Pusa aim to create a sustained bridge between vocational education and the automotive industry, giving young talent greater access to practical learning and career opportunities.

The initiative marks another step towards building a stronger skilled workforce for India and supporting the aspirations of young India as the country moves towards Viksit Bharat.
