Royal Enfield unveiled its first line-up of expedition riders, overlanders, rally pioneers, Special Forces veterans, mountain guides, climbers, engineers, filmmakers and athletes, alongside some of India's most celebrated independent musicians and voices from the mountains, who will be part of the immersive three-day programming at the Himalayan Basecamp in Leh from September 4-6, 2026.
Spanning masterclasses with Adam Riemann and Jamie Robinson, technical workshops with Anand Dharmaraj, guided expeditions curated by Vijay Parmar, outdoor challenges led by Tanvi Badami and SK Wazid Ali, mountain experiences with Monks & Warriors, and live music by the likes of Anuv Jain, Ankur Tiwari & the Ghalat Family, Himalayan Basecamp brings together the many faces of the adventure mindset, and the people who've spent their lives chasing it. Participants will train alongside pioneers across disciplines, stepping into their worlds and learning first-hand, while trading stories, skills and hard-won lessons with a community driven by the same restless curiosity to explore beyond the familiar.

THE PIONEERS - STORIES, SKILLS AND A LIFETIME OF ADVENTURE

Leading the conversations, challenges and experiences will be:

Adam Riemann, adventure motorcyclist, filmmaker and creator of MOTONOMAD, will host a masterclass on the planning, preparation and realities of long-distance ADV overlanding.
Anand Dharmaraj, motorcyclist and engineer, will conduct hands-on bush mechanics sessions covering breakdown diagnosis and field recovery.
Monks & Warriors, represented by Col. Kaushal Kashyap and Col. Kaushalendra Singh, both Special Forces veterans, will host immersive sessions on leadership, resilience and the warrior mindset.
Vijay Parmar, founder of the Rally Raid-de-Himalaya and the Mughal Rally, will curate the Himalayan Adventure Challenge across Competitive and Adventure categories.
Jamie Robinson, filmmaker, adventurer and former Isle of Man TT racer, will present From Isle of Man TT to Globe-Trotter, an interactive masterclass on racing, endurance and long-distance exploration.
Tanvi Badami, rock climber and climbing educator, will curate the climbing experience alongside the Ladakh Mountain Guide Association
SK Wazid Ali, one of India's foremost MTB freestyle athletes and a pioneer of street trials, will lead a dedicated mountain biking session.

THE TRAILS - THE HIMALAYAS, AS THEY WERE MEANT TO BE EXPERIENCED

One of the defining experiences at Himalayan Basecamp, Ladakh Uncharted, created in partnership with Alpinestars, will take participants beyond the region's best-known routes and into the heart of the Himalayas. Led by local riders, the journeys across Wari La, the Leh–Zanskar Trail through Chilling and Shukpa Makha, and the roads between Likir and Tingmosgang will uncover a quieter, more authentic Ladakh, where hidden passes, remote villages and generations of local knowledge come together to create an experience few visitors ever encounter.

THE RHYTHM - THE SOUNDS OF THE MOUNTAINS, FROM DUSK TO DAWN

As the day's adventures draw to a close, Himalayan Basecamp will settle into a different rhythm. The evenings will bring some of India's leading independent musicians together with artists from the mountains, with a line-up chosen to feel at home in its surroundings - warm, soulful music for long evenings under Himalayan skies. After days spent riding, climbing and exploring, Basecamp will become a place to gather, listen, trade stories and find inspiration in the people around you.
Among the artists taking the stage will be:

Anuv Jain, one of India's biggest independent music stars, whose spare, deeply personal songs have found a vast audience in India and beyond.
Ankur Tewari & The Ghalat Family, one of the mainstays of India's independent music scene, blending Hindustani rock with warm, lyrical songwriting, led by singer-songwriter, composer and music supervisor Ankur Tewari.
Taba Chake, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Arunachal Pradesh, whose intricate guitar playing and folk-inflected songwriting draw from his Nyishi roots and life in the eastern Himalayas.
Dashugs, at the forefront of Ladakh's contemporary music scene, reworking generations-old folk traditions into a sound of their own.
Rolyang Band, among the custodians of Ladakh's musical heritage, drawing on generations of folk songs, stories and rhythms that remain part of the region's living tradition.
Luyangs Band, a Ladakhi band whose music is inseparable from the place it comes from, drawing on the landscapes, people and culture of the mountains.

Phase 1 passes are available till August 12, 2026 at ₹1,999 for a Three-Day pass, and ₹999 for Single-Day Pass, before the next phase of registrations begin starting August 13, 2026.
