Aahwahan Foundation to Support 5,000 Families in Flood-Hit Surat

Gujarat, 4 August 2026: Aahwahan Foundation has launched its Gujarat Flood Relief Mission to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to families affected by the devastating floods in Surat. Through this emergency initiative, the Foundation will distribute 5,000 Grocery Relief Kits containing essential dry food items, groceries, and basic medicines to vulnerable families who have lost access to daily necessities. The relief programme has been initiated to address the urgent needs of flood-affected communities, prevent hunger, and help families begin rebuilding their lives with dignity through timely humanitarian support. Relief kits were distributed to flood-affected families in the villages across Surat and Valsad districts. In Surat district, relief kits were provided to flood-affected families in the villages of Vyara, Valod, Khervada, Vankal, Kadod, Areth, Limbayat, Godadra, Dindoli, Varachha, Unn, Pandesara, Talavchora, Nandhai, and Velanpur. In Valsad district, relief kits were distributed to flood-affected families in the villages of Nogama, Sadakpor, Anklas, Borlai, Bhilad, Jamburi, Karad, Mohangam, Nani, Tambadi, Udawada, Ambach, Naroli, Jujiwa, Kanjan Hari, Ronvel, Kanjan, Rachod, Jalapor, Sisdora, Supa, Endhal, Pera, Vedcha, Arak, Kalakhacha, Gandevi, Gauchhar, Amalsad, Sachin, Kabilpor, Dharagiri, Veasna, and Chapra.
