Mission ShakthiSAT Selects Class 12th Student for its Prestigious Global Space Programme

9th July, 2026: Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh has achieved yet another milestone in its journey of educational excellence. Navya, a Class XII student has been selected to represent Delhi in the prestigious world-level educational initiative called ‘Mission ShaktiSAT’. It has been organized by ‘Space Kidz India’. As part of the selection process, Navya successfully completed more than 120 hours of online learning and advanced to Phase II of the programme.

Mission ShaktiSAT is an international initiative designed to inspire and empower for girls s across the world. In this context, it aims to train 12000 girls with respect to various technical fields, including satellite technology, coding, astronomy, engineering, and other STEM disciplines.

Navya’s achievement reflects her dedication and perseverance, as well as the encouraging academic environment at Modern Public School, which is committed to motivating students to participate in innovative learning opportunities.

On this occasion, while addressing the audience, Dr Srimathy Kesan, the Founder of Space Kidz India, said, "Mission ShakthiSAT has been creating a generation of young innovators through significant exposure to space technology and scientific exploration.
