Mumbai, 25th March 2025: Manipal Hospitals, one of the leading health care providers in Eastern India, has partnered with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as the official medical partner for IPL 2025, which is happening from 22nd March to 25th May. A team of dedicated specialists, such as Dr. Indranil Das, Head of Emergency at Medica Superspecialty Hospital, a unit of Manipal Hospitals Network, Dr. Sujoy Das Thakur, Head of Emergency at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur, and Dr. Kishen Goel, Head of Emergency at Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, are heading the medical team, providing premium health care support during the matches.
To provide seamless emergency care, Manipal Hospitals has deployed a 70+ member medical team comprising 10 doctors specializing in Emergency Care, Orthopedics, Critical Care, and RMOs, along with 50 nurses and Emergency Medicine Technicians (EMTs). The hospital has stationed 7 ambulances (3 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support and 4 - Basic Life Support ambulance) at strategic locations, ensuring rapid response in case of any medical emergencies. Additionally, a dedicated in-hospital team across Manipal’s five Kolkata units is on standby to provide advanced medical care when required.
The entire stadium is covered with a comprehensive medical infrastructure, including a Player Medical Room (PMR) and Field of Play (FOP) unit, both staffed with specialized medical teams. Two Spectator Medical Rooms are fully equipped to handle any health concerns, while nine First Aid Stations are strategically placed across blocks B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, and I.

To increase emergency preparedness, emergency heads of all government and private hospitals have been notified to extend support in the event of any major medical emergencies.
