New Delhi, March 13, 2025 – In a bold reimagining of India's most vibrant festival, Ardee Racquet Club in collaboration with Times Prime presents "Gulab Bari" – Delhi's first women-only Holi celebration featuring an innovative flower-based festival experience. Set to transform New Friends Colony into a floral wonderland on March 16, this pioneering event offers women a safe, elegant alternative to traditional Holi celebrations.

Inspired by Spain's famous Tomatina Festival but with a distinctly desi approach, Gulab Bari replaces chemical colors with sustainable flower petals and natural chandan, creating an eco-conscious celebration that honors both tradition and modern sensibilities.

"We envisioned a space where women could celebrate Holi without compromise – experiencing complete freedom, safety, and joy," says the event curator. "Gulab Bari isn't just a festival; it's a movement celebrating female empowerment through our cultural traditions."

The four-hour extravaganza promises an immersive experience featuring:

Phoolon Ki Holi: Traditional color-throwing reimagined with fragrant, biodegradable flower petals

Sacred Chandan Rituals: Ancient sandalwood paste ceremonies adapted for a contemporary celebration

Exclusive Musical Journey: A carefully curated playlist by renowned artist Neha Bhasin featuring both traditional and modern festival anthems

Women-Owned Marketplace: Pop-up shops showcasing local female entrepreneurs and artisans

This event is the result of a powerful collaboration between Ardee Racquet Club, Times Prime, City Girls Who Walk, Delhi, and Khel Club – organizations united in their commitment to creating meaningful spaces for women.

"In a society where women's freedom to celebrate often comes with restrictions, Gulab Bari stands as a testament to what's possible when we prioritize both tradition and progress," adds a spokesperson from City Girls Who Walk, Delhi.

Gulab Bari will take place on March 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ardee Racquet Club, New Friends Colony. The event is free for Times Prime members, with entry exclusively for women.
