International Polo Tour Achieves Mardi Gras Victory At The Wanderers Club Ahead of 2025 Season

Wellington, Fla. February 25, 2025 - The 2025 polo season officially starts February 28th, but the team at the International Polo Tour (IPT) isn't waiting to begin the year's festivities and victories!

This past weekend, The IPT Circumnavigators Club Hotels at Sea Polo Team visited Wellington's own The Wanderers Club for an early Mardi Gras celebration. As top players joined together for a lively night, the IPT brought their A-game, scoring seven goals and claiming the night's honors.

"As we finalize preparations for the 2025 polo season, our recent match has only reignited our hearts and love for the polo community," stated International Polo Tour Founder and Team Captain Tareq Salahi. "Each second of the evening was an opportunity to showcase our skills, and we have proven that we are more than ready for anything this upcoming season throws at us."

Captain Salahi was also honored as the night's MVP, having scored six goals for his team.

"I am truly looking forward to getting back onto the polo court and making our community proud. This February 28th, I will also be hosting a special event to celebrate the beginning of the season while benefiting the We Will Survive Cancer charity. Players, fans, celebrities, and media are all welcome to enjoy a lighthearted party and ribbon cutting to set the year on the best note possible!"
