New Delhi, June 18th, 2024 - Nested beside The Lodhi’s picturesque outdoor pool, The Pool Café is delighted to unveil its new menu, designed to nourish and energise in the lap of tranquillity. Crafted by Executive Chef Vijay Thapliyal, the new menu celebrates health and seasonality with a fusion of international flavours and locally sourced ingredients. Coinciding with International Yoga Day on June 21st, 2024, the menu underscores the vision behind it: to promote a holistic approach to well-being and a realistic perspective on food and health.

The Pool Café, with its quaint bistro-style setting, is an ideal venue that offers a variety of delectable wholesome and hearty dishes. The café is incredibly popular with guests, especially after laps in the famous picturesque outdoor heated pool or post-workout at the hotel’s gym, The Athletic Club.

The new menu is crafted in a way that offers something for every palate, from freshly baked pastries like Pain-au-Chocolat, Almond Croissants, and Classic Croissants to heartier fare like Smoked Salmon on Whole Wheat Sourdough, Mushroom Avocado Toast, and the delicious Chipotle Lamb Burger.
To nourish a wider range of palates and dietary needs the new menu now features a selection of nutritious options. Guests seeking a lighter, health-conscious experience can enjoy wholesome dishes like Multigrain Fusilli, Whole Wheat Penne, Baby Leaf Salad, and Charred Broccoli. Diners can also select more substantial dishes such as grilled Roman Artichokes and Pan-Seared Norwegian Salmon.

In addition to the wide range of food options, the Pool Café has put together a pleasant drink menu that includes the energising ABC Juice (Apple, Beetroot, Carrot), Green Apple Spinach Smoothies, and Chikoo Almond Milk Shakes.
