The Marlton Golf Club holds a special place in the hearts of golf enthusiasts, boasting a history that spans decades. This year-round, 18-hole course, designed by Ault-Clark and Associates, offers a picturesque layout covering 150 acres of breathtaking landscaping. With bent grass fairways and greens, Marlton is the first public course in Prince George's County to offer this level of quality. Golfers can challenge themselves with a par 71 layout that ranges from 4600 yards (forward tees) to 6200 yards (back tees), catering to players of all skill levels.

History echoes through the course, as the land upon which Marlton Golf Course & Country Club stands has a rich heritage in Prince George's County. Originally part of the 379-acre Woodstock Farm owned by the Clagett-Hill family during the 19th century, the property's transformation into a golfing haven began with the visionary developers Orville and Mark Ritchie, who turned it into the Marlton housing development in 1966. Following that, the championship golf course opened its fairways in 1968, with the Clagett-Hill Tobacco Barn repurposed into golf course offices and equipment storage.

After undergoing a full redesign and reemergence by Ault-Clark and Associates in the 1996-1997 timeframe, the Marlton Golf Course regained its former glory, captivating the hearts of golfers once again. Don Pleasants previously owned the course and was managed by Kemper Sports until April 2015, when HWVJ Enterprises, LLC took over, continuing the tradition of excellence.
