India's leading SMEs and Mid-Corporates recognised at D&B–SBI Business Enterprises of Tomorrow Summit

Mumbai, August 09, 2023: Dun & Bradstreet, a leading global business information provider of business decisioning data and analytics, recognised the outstanding Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Mid-sized Corporates of India on July 28, 2023 at the 14th edition of 'Dun & Bradstreet?State Bank of India Business Enterprises of Tomorrow Summit 2023'.

The theme of the Summit was 'The roadmap to Aatmanirbhar Bhavishya' in the forerun to India's prospects of becoming self-reliant and a leading manufacturing hub for the world. The keynote address was delivered by the Guest of Honour Shri. Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), Government of India, along with special addresses by Mr. T Koshy, CEO, Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and Shri Praveen Raghavendra, Deputy Managing Director, State Bank of India (SBI).

The summit was graced by key dignitaries from the Government of India and its Ministries, departments, allied agencies, CXOs and other senior representatives of leading SME and Mid-corporates, financial institutions, and industry associations.

Speaking at the summit, Avinash Gupta, Managing Director & CEO ? India, Dun & Bradstreet said, "The SME and Mid-Corporates are contributing to Aatmanirbharta (self-reliance) with MSMEs contributing 30% of GDP output, 40% of India's manufacturing output and 45% of India's export. The future of India is intricately tied to the future of MSMEs. To truly achieve the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bhavishya and a 5 trillion USD economy by 2025-26, the growth and sustainability of MSMEs is of paramount importance."

The summit also showcased the publications, 'Leading SMEs of India 2023' and 'Leading Mid-Corporates of India 2023' as a tribute to SMEs and Mid-Corporates who are contributing to the Government's vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat and to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship. The publications, which are available for download from Dun & Bradstreet India's website, capture the pulse of Indian SMEs and Mid-Corporates, the views of business leaders, and feature 4,000 leading SMEs and 1,000 leading mid-sized corporates in India.
