Talking Threads launch their flagship store in Mehrauli, New Delhi

March 2023, New Delhi: Talking Threads, a brand that keeps Indian craftsmanship at its core, recently launched their flagship store in Mehrauli, New Delhi with a bang. The brand curated an indulgent evening in collaboration with Bahaar Dhawan, a luxury content creator and artist to celebrate the stores\' opening.

Inspired by tradition and moved by the modern world, Talking Threads celebrates exquisite culture in fashion and exceptional craftsmanship, while creating gorgeous wedding wear for brides and grooms, celebration wear, and evening couture. At the heart of the event were the artisans behind the labels\' dazzling creations, who conducted live workshops of zardozi, parsi gara, gota patti, beading artistry and 3D embroidery, reflective of the various styles incorporated in the brand\'s offerings. The idea was to enlighten the guests as to what goes into the making of each individual garment.

Pearl Uppal, the creative director of Talking Threads took the guests on a walkthrough of the store, and through the history of the designs and ideas behind various garment lines. The evening saw the cr?me de la cr?me of New Delhi, such as Radhika Bhalla and Sonam Pal, amongst the many who tried their hand at needlework. Guests enjoyed hors d\'oeuvres and beverages over live saxophone music. Talking Threads gifted their guests versatile hand-embroidered belts and pocket squares as giveaways as a momento for those who attended the launch.

At the Talking Threads flagship store launch, Pearl Uppal, the creative director of Talking Threads said: \"Our flagship studio is a labour of love for me and the Talking Threads team, and bringing it to Mehrauli, the couture district of Delhi, is a dream come true.
