Board of Open Schooling &Skill Education (BOSSE) Achieved Another Feat in The Sphere of Open Schooling Education

Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) gave membership to BOSSE. This membership will enhance the credibility of the BOSSE degree and certification and also encourage the pursuit of knowledge through a constructive and employment-oriented curriculum.
Gangtok, 5 January 2023: Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) gave membership to the Board of Open Schooling & Skill Education (BOSSE). This is another feat achieved by BOSSE that will enhance its credibility and encourage students to take admission to its academic and vocational courses. The Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) is a consortium of all Boards of School Education in India, coordinates with different boards, education ministries of different states, the Ministry of HRD, the Government of India, and different state governments to promote and propagate school education upholding the true spirit of ?Right to Education? of Government of India.
COBSE membership will enhance the credibility and significance of the BOSSE degree and certification that will be valid for higher studies and employment in private and public sectors. Notable thing is that BOSSE also received recognition from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
The President of BOSSE, Dr. Kuldeep Agarwal, expressed his pleasure and pride in this achievement and shed light on the objective of BOSSE. He said, ?the objective of BOSSE is to uplift and strengthen open schooling education through holistic, innovative, and constructive education that not only can pave the way for higher education but also can work as a bridge between academic and vocational education.?

The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE), Sikkim, is an open schooling board that aims to cater to the varied academic needs of the divergent group of students up to pre-degree level including Secondary/Senior Secondary, skill, and vocational education established under Act No. 14 of 2020 of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, passed on 21-09-2020, according to the Sikkim Act 2020 to promulgate and disseminate the open schooling education at state & national level.
