The India-based casual gaming startup, established in 2018 by Dilsher Singh and Siddhant Saurabh, has more than 70 million downloads in India.
In August 2021, Zupee had gotten $30 million in a Series B funding round, with an extra investment of $72 million in January 2022 ? taking the total revenue brought up in the round to $102 million ? and was rated at $600 million.
The Series B round saw participation from investors, including WestCap Group, Tomales Bay Capital, Nepean Capital, AJ Capital, Matrix Partners India, and Orios Venture Partners.
Zupee said it will utilize the cash flow to foster new items, improve vivid design encounters, venture into new geographics, increase advertising, reach, penetration, exploration, and advancement, and recruit top talent.
The Smile Group-backed startup has collaborated with Jio Platforms to circulate its content to Jio Phone users.
