SIDBI partnered with Vijaybhoomi University for Skill to Enterprise Module

Mumbai, May 11,2022: Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has partnered with Vijaybhoomi University under its ?Mission Swavalamban? campaign to promote entrepreneurial education for skilled youths who are interested to pursue entrepreneurship as preferred career choice. SIDBI has signed a MoU to train and nurture aspiring youth to venture into entrepreneurship. Vijaybhoomi University will develop a curated course to help and guide aspirants to learn the traints of entrepreneurship. The MoU was signed at SIDBI?s office at SWAVALAMBAN BHAVAN, Mumbai on May 11, 2022. While SIDBI shall facilitate the arrangement through its experience in the area of entrepreneurship promotion, credit connect and linkages with Enterprise Ecosystem, Vijaybhoomi University would provide the customized entrepreneurship course to skilled and aspiring youths to set up enterprises as per market demand. Vijaybhoomi University shall also provide handholding and mentorship support to youth to launch and manage their enterprises.

On this occasion Shri Sivasubramanian Ramann, Chairman and Managing Director of SIDBI said, ?Sidbi intends to take entrepreneurship to next level wherein partner academic institutions shall actively associate in transitioning youth dreams into enterprise. This structured initiative will lend impetus to the culture of entrepreneurship. We envision that by attending such focused courseस, a skilled person who aspires to become an entrepreneur, shall get hands-on experience for setting up an enterprise. The initiative will also focus on connecting the participative youth to market and strengthen the nations enterprise ecosystem?
