Sesame Workshop India launches the second season of Chamki Ke Best Friends on its Hindi YouTube channel

30th March 2022, New Delhi: In a bid to encourage play-based learning, Sesame Workshop India has launched the second season of Chamki ke Best Friends on its Hindi YouTube Channel. Chamki ke Best Friends, Season 2 has come up with 15 episodes. The series aims to create fun and sensitive, age-appropriate content that can be consumed not only by kids but by everyone in the family.

As per UNICEF?s report, ?Rapid Assessment of Learning During School Closures in The Context Of COVID?, over half of the students who used remote learning did so across multiple resources. WhatsApp is the most used tool by students and teachers alike (over half of students and 89 percent of surveyed teachers). Caregivers in the education ecosystem have experienced value in the technological tools more than the traditional way of educating kids. As per the report, 40% of caregivers found WhatsApp, YouTube, and live video classes more effective than in-person learning.

Talking about the launch of season two of Chamki ki Best Friends, Ms.Sonali Khan, Managing Trustee at Sesame Workshop India said, ?Sesame Workshop India has always practised the best way for kids and their caregivers to keep calm by implementing the three R?s: Routine, Regulation, and Reassurance. Assessing the success of ?Chamki Ke Bestfriends? gaining over 20, 000 views post its relaunch, we realized the impact the series has created among our stakeholders. We understood and got motivated seeing the level of engagement and hence here we are back with season two with even more diverse goals and objectives to create some positive outcomes among children and caregivers.?

While ?Chamki Ke Best Friends? aims to help parents understand the importance of maintaining healthy and flexible routines, Sesame Workshop India has set certain goals and objectives to ensure the desired outcome from the second season of Chamki ke Best Friends. It primarily targets educational goals like healthy eating, recognizing & managing emotions, play & imagination, problem-solving, friendship, planning, and a positive outlook.
