Brodzki Jacobs Participates in Collaborative Pilot Project

Brodzki Jacobs is pleased to announce the participation of its founding partner, Nancy K. Brodzki, Esq., in a collaborative pilot project with the Seventeenth Circuit. This project is currently ongoing in Judge Andrea Ruth Gundersen?s division of Broward Family Court. With this project, selected families with children within Judge Gundersen?s division are given the opportunity to participate in the program.

To date, approximately 12 cases have been assigned to an enthusiastic group of volunteer professionals, including lawyers, facilitators, and neutral financial professionals. The project provides parents in divorce and paternity cases, otherwise representing themselves, with a team of professionals to help resolve disputes without the need for litigation.

Ms. Brodzki, as the chief coordinator of the project, along with her committee of volunteers, screens the families for their willingness to work together for the benefit of the entire family, their openness to cooperation rather than battling one another over the issues, and their commitment to transparency and respect for the process, the professionals and each other.
