Marshmello to headline Thursday Night Yasalam after-race concerts

On October 2, 2019, Yas Marina Circuit and FLASH Entertainment announced the international music superstars set to headline Thursday and Saturday night at the Yasalam After-Race Concerts. The first live show of the fantastic Yasalam line-up will see DJ Marshmello making the crowd groove at the du Arena, Yas Island, on Thursday 28th November, while the show on 30th November will see a performance by Lana Del Ray.

The announcement of Lana Del Rey and Marshmello completes the star-studded list for 2019's Yasalam After-Race Concerts, with Travis Scott setting the stage on fire on Friday 29th November and The Killers bringing the curtain down on the1st of December.
Famous for rocking dancefloors around the globe and for wearing his trademark helmet, Marshmello is one of the biggest producers/DJs in the world, with a massive 2+ billion streams on Spotify alone and around 40 million monthly listeners tuning in on the music platform. His smash hit single Happier with Bastile reached the top of the charts around the world, resulting in over 1,00,00,00,000 streams and going Certified Platinum in the United States. After sitting at #1 for over 53 weeks, it became the longest-standing #1 dance record in the history of music charts. Fans travelling to the du Arena can expect a loud, exciting and bass-thumping show that they'll never forget. With music lovers of all ages considering themselves as fans of The Killers, Lana Del Rey, Marshmello, and Travis Scott, the Yasalam After-Race Concerts in 2019 are sure to be a huge hit with race-goers from 170+ counties travelling to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019 will also be welcoming two exciting, and home-grown motorsports talents, Amna Al Qubaisi and Hamda who will be getting behind the wheel in an F4UAE race.
Being held during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for the first time, the F4UAE races will be showcasing the technical driving ability of Hamda and Amna alongside with a starting grid of gifted young drivers.
Both Amna Al Qubaisi and Hamda will be looking towards making a significant impact in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.
Organisers also revealed that owing to popular demand and a desire to reward loyal local race-goers in the UAE, an additional 1,600 tickets would be released to residents in the UAE.

What?s in store for fans at Yas Island
F1 fans can also extend their stay in the capital with the announcement of a 50% discount to explore the Louvre Abu Dhabi that comes included with every Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket from Thursday to Sunday. The Louvre Abu Dhabi houses hundreds of acclaimed works of art and masterpieces from across the world. The peace and calm of the galleries, along with the intricately-designed open spaces provide visitors with a respite from the crowds, noise, and bustling excitement of Yas Marina Circuit.
An excellent addition to the off-track action is the Grand Prix Auction, hosted by the international auction house, RM Sotheby's. A must-visit for all motorsport lovers, among the legendary and rare cars on auction is Michael Schumacher's 2002 Formula One Ferrari that won the championship.

Both Lana Del Rey and Marshmello promise to stun crowds with their music, assuring fans even more memorable moments to cement the legacy of Yasalam.
The 5-day race festival of on and off-track entertainment (which includes the Marshmello concert) starts with Super Thursday and Public Pitlane Walk, with the action continuing along the entire weekend up to Monday. On 2nd December, the 48th UAE National Day will see a whole day of fun activations on Abu Dhabi Hill to continue the festival mood after the excitement of Sunday's race day.
Early discounts and offers had tickets selling like hotcakes, and as of the second week of November 2019, less than 2000 tickets were available for sale.
