A Kidney Transplant Patient Airlifted by Air Ambulance in Patna Successfully

31 Jan. 19, Patna ? Lifesaver Air Ambulance did a remarkable job of shifting a critical Kidney Transplant Patient by its Air Ambulance in Patna last week. We feel proud to share a successful patient transfer story with everyone. In execution of a distress call that we received from a reputed local hospital of the city last week, we came across a serious patient needed to be immediately transferred to Mumbai for a Kidney transplant. It was a challenging task as the patient glomerular filtration rate test was indicating that the patient needs dialysis. Thanks to the portable dialysis machine that we had on our Air Ambulance in Patna that helped us stabilize the patient during transportation.



We had mobilized our best medical team in this case. There were a Kidney specialist and an experienced paramedic on the Air Ambulance who did all the possible procedure to make the patient stable. Our Air Ambulance is fitted with the latest equipment that may be needed by the patient during evacuation and hence we dispatch every patient with confidence and ease. In this particular case, we had provided a bed to bed transfer as the patient was almost unconscious.
