October, Mumbai: Bhatia Hospital recently came on board to lend their support for the 5 match T20 cricket series tournament of the blind cricketers organised by the Cricket Association of the Blind in India. The tournament was held on 16th October at Islam Gymkhana Cricket Ground, Marine Lines, Mumbai. The Hospital aims to stand with the players as a mark of respect for their courage and the inspiration they provide to others.
The Indian team headed by Deepak Malik won a two-nil lead against Sri Lanka and will head to Bhopal for their next tournament. For the entire tournament, Bhatia Hospital stepped in as medical partners for any emergency cases happening on ground. The Hospital would also be meeting all the medical needs of the players on ground. Bhatia Hospital is already known for its expertise in handling sport-related emergencies.
