The Phoenix at Delray Participates in the 2018 Kick Off for Walk to Cure Arthritis

The Phoenix at Delray is proud to announce the kickoff of the 2018 Walk to Cure Arthritis. Taking place on October 6, 2018, at 10 a.m. this event is set to be empowering and motivating, while providing important information about this debilitative disease.

The public is invited to come to the event to discover how they can help the cause. This includes walking, hosting fundraising activities or making a donation. If someone wishes to participate in the walk, they are required to sign up at a WalktoCureArthritis.org.

During the event, the keynote speakers include Laura Eiman, who is a senior Olympian and a gold medalist in weight lifting, and David Alboukrek, MD, FACR, who is a board-certified rheumatologist with the Rheumatology Associations of South Florida.

Those who attend the event are also invited to visit the resource tables and enter the raffle to win large-screen television, along with other prizes, and to enjoy an array of tasty refreshments.
