In April 2018, growers in Alpine, Texas planted their tomato crops. Ruach Farm grower, David Steinbrunner, planted fifty 4 pot tomato plants. After 3 weeks, the plants grew to 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide and were loaded with blooms. However, in mid-May, a major golf ball size hail storm hit the Alpine area followed by very hot dry Texas weather.

Most everyones tomato plants were damaged severely down to stems with no leaves. The stress on the plants were so severe that David considered re transplanting them. But instead he trimmed the plants back to 1 ft x 1 ft and left them alone. Within a week, the plants started to come back strong. All fifty plants came roaring back yielding a bonanza crop. The best performing varieties yielded 10 pounds of Large Red Cherry, another yielded 25 pounds of Celebrity. David is still harvesting in September. It was so bountiful that David had more than enough to supply local restaurants and stores with his crops.

What was his secret? He used his proprietary blend of Wildroot Organic Mycorrhizal Fungi and Wildroot Organic Fertilizer. David cut 3 diameter on the bottom of fifty 3-gallon buckets for good drainage and placed each bucket in 2 deep soil. Each bucket was filled 2/3 with native soil and pound of Wildroot Fertilizer. An additional pound of Wildroot Fertilizer surrounded each bucket. Then in a 20-gallon tub, 2 oz of Wildroot Organic Mycorrhizal Fungi solution that was diluted with water and each 4 tomato pot was dipped into the solution, drained and planted into the 3-gallon bucket. Each plant was watered in with 1 cups of the remaining mycorrhizal solution.

Most of the other growers lost their tomato crop due to the severe hail storm but Davids tomato crop survived and thrived. He had a bountiful crop and was the one of the only growers harvesting. It appears Wildroot Organic Mycorrhizal Fungi Concentrate and Wildroot Organic Fertilizer contributed greatly to the health, strength and resilience of these tomato plants.
