July 2018, LONDON – Urbane Living specialists in premium quality wood floors, parquet, carpets and wallcoverings. Building on the success of their West London branch Urbane Living are opening their flagship showroom on Wigmore St.

Opening August 2018 - 132 Wigmore St, London W1U 3SD.

Located just behind Selfridges on the north side of Wigmore St the store is ideally located in the heart of Marylebone’s interior design hub.

With 240m2 of retail space arranged over two floors, Urbane Living have created an inspirational environment to view the latest trends in floor and wall coverings.

Managing Director Adam Robertson explains ‘We wanted the showroom to be more than just a collection of products but a place where clients, architects and interior designers can be inspired and surpass any preconceived thoughts of what might be possible’.

The design of the showroom was developed in-house by owners Adam and Stephanie Robertson in collaboration with Stanza Designs. Adam Robertson advises that ‘We love the way the Chiswick store sets a scene as you walked in, this time we have upped the design on the floor with a unique parquet pattern and elegant furniture and lighting fixtures to create stirring ambience’.

The Wood Floor collection on the ground floor showcases a large selection of products arranged and displayed so it is easy to see and locate colours and styles. Parquet and plank flooring displays have maximised the 4m high ceilings to give a more realistic understanding of variation and scale. The new store will introduce a number of new products including a range of waxed finished reclaimed and new contemporary patterns and colours in parquet and wide planks up to 800mm wide.

The lower ground floor features a large selection of luxury carpets and flatweave runners. Urbane Living have continued an inspirational feel with large displays and space to review choices. Brands on display include Urbane Livings own branded carpets as well as Jacaranda, Crucial Trading, Alternative Flooring, ITC, Roger Oates, Fleetwood Fox and Hartley Tissier.

Collaborating with Arte Wallcoverings, Urbane Living have created a dedicated wallpaper department with an Arte Inspiration Shop with floor to ceiling high displays. In addition to Arte an extensive selection of wallpapers are on display from Brian Yates, Stereo and other premium quality wallpaper manufactures.
