Junior Jam is an education supplier providing PPA cover, After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs, and Activity Days to primary schools across the England. For over 13 years the company has worked in partnership with over 1,000 schools and has developed its? range of skills so that they now cover all subjects contained in the National Curriculum. This includes MFL PPA cover; ICT PPA cover; sports PPA cover; and music, dance, and performing arts PPA cover.

The company now offers the largest range of subjects of any provider in the UK and this means that schools needing PPA cover only have to deal with one provider instead of a range of smaller providers who only offer a limited number of subjects.

This has multiple benefits from the point of view of both Junior Jam and the schools it supplies. The company knows that every school is different and has different requirements from the next one. When schools use Junior Jam the teachers that it supplies work tirelessly to understand how the school would like them to deliver the PPA cover and to familiarise themselves with the school staff and the way in which the school functions. Their aim is to build meaningful relationships with the teachers and senior staff at the school and maintain the highest standards of teaching while at the same time being able to adapt readily to any changes which take place naturally in education.

Partner schools are supplied with dedicated teachers and instructors who deliver dynamic and innovative lessons. All schools are given access to an online portal which enables their own staff to view planning and upload any specific requirements to be included. They can also view the result of their pupils? lessons.

Junior jam staff are always open to new ideas and concepts and can adapt readily to take into account any new features which the school would like included in their lessons. Most schools adapt and evolve as they grow, and Junior Jam staff will not only incorporate any new ideas from the school staff, but will also offer their own suggestions based on their many years of experience. Lessons can be provided wherever the school wishes ? in the classroom, in the hall, in the ICT suite, or outdoors.

Junior Jam also offers the reporting and assessment of children as an optional extra where staff will give a grade to each child at the end of each half term. In the final half term, schools can be provided with a written report on the assessment of each child which can be added to their annual report. Junior Jam staff are also happy to meet with staff and senior teachers and discuss the progress or otherwise of any individual child or a class as a whole. All feedback from partner schools is very welcome.

Junior Jam staff work very hard to ensure that the service that they supply is second to none. Before providing any lessons at a particular school the office staff will discuss with the school the way in which they should be delivered. The Junior Jam staff member who will deliver the first lessons will arrive at the school a half hour or so early in order to complete a quick questionnaire relating to the school and the classes that they will be teaching. The aim is to learn about behaviour policy, housekeeping, and how the school wishes the children to be registered and dismissed.

All of the PPA cover lessons are designed and prepared in accordance with the National Curriculum and the company feels that it is important to show the school how the lessons that are delivered link with this. Before delivering any lessons, Junior Jam staff will supply the school with their key skills and learning outcomes that detail it. It is also important to note that lessons are differentiated for KS1 and KS2 pupils. In addition, Junior Jam is happy to incorporate any specific resources that the school would like included in lessons. School staff are also welcome to login to the Junior Jam online portal and access all of the company?s risk assessments and insurance cover, together with a copy of the DBS and a photo of each staff member who will be involved.
