Dallas, Texas ? Based on her life experiences throughout her commendable career, former psychotherapist and pastor Gwen Wellington has now authored a new book. The book features a ton of motivational advice and inspirational wisdom that encompass Wellington?s varied career undertakings and personal life struggles. Her main emphasis throughout the book remains on the connection with God and how to find empowerment in God?s word throughout the toughest life situations.

Titled Glimpses of God?s Heart: Life Giving Love Notes for Every Day of the Year, readers will learn how to maintain their connection with God and stay in communion with the Divine. Wellington?s journaling passion has made this book possible. In order to make this book a true experience for the readers, she has compiled compelling segments of her communication with God, recorded in the journals she has written over the past four decades. The book also includes Bible scripture references, footnotes, and a subject index for the readers.

Growing up in the southern foothills of Alberta, Wellington studied music and theology at the Canadian Mennonite University. As one of her earliest career achievements, she established a Christian Education Resource Center for churches across Canada. She also served as a pastor in her home church. After earning a graduate degree in clinical social work, she worked for many years as a psychotherapist in several practices she established. Wellington now resides in Cranbrook, British Columbia, where she is the musician at one of the local churches and continues to help others with literary endeavors such as this book.

?Intimacy with God can be felt within the context of deep pain. Gwen has tapped into the cosmic truth that God weeps with us when we are feeling alone, alienated and without meaning,? stated renowned psychologist Dr. Cheryl A. Noble in a review of the book. Noble further added, ?Because humans are much more than just intellect, the presence of the Divine can be felt in other ways that go beyond printed words. Reading Glimpses of God?s Heart, leaves the reader with a felt sense of God?s deep participation in our humanity.?

Gwen Wellington is available for interviews.
