Growing concerns over human waste prompts education of climbers and other outdoors enthusiasts.
ESCONDIDO, Calif., ? Human waste is a growing concern in climbing areas. Access Fund, the national advocacy organization that protects America?s climbing, just released a video about how to use a Restop bag. The video demonstrates that Restop is easy to use, easy to carry and easy to dispose of, all while helping the environment and reducing the spread of disease.
?Access Fund wants to assure climbers and other outdoor enthusiasts that packing it out is not as gross or intimidating as it might sound,? explained Ty Tyler, Access Fund?s Stewardship Director. ?Our goal is to educate people on the importance and ease of proper disposal of human waste.?

Restop?s Western Region Sales Manager Lou Ortego added, ?Self-contained disposable toilets provide safe, clean solutions to help keep our parks and other outdoor recreational areas clean as well as help prevent fecal-oral transmission of deadly diseases.?
Restop products provide access to hygienic solutions that contain human waste as well as antimicrobial wipes for cleaning hands after use. The RS2 solid and liquid waste bags featured in the video have a ?bag within a bag? design to contain and neutralize both liquid and solid waste. The disposable toilets can then be placed in trash receptacles for safe disposal in landfills.
The bags are inexpensive and small enough to conveniently carry.
Restop is currently offering 20 percent off purchases in the continental United States through its website at www.Restop.com. Restop products are also available at retailers throughout the country (see www.restop.com/retailers for a current list) and at some national parks.
