23rd August, 2017, India: This October, OBEETEE a world leader in hand-woven carpets, will launch its special quick ship program, OBEETEE Express. The program will kick-off with an exclusive collection to benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA), one of the largest funders of HIV/AIDS service and education. Fifteen talented interior designers and architects will create customizable carpet designs for the new DIFFA Collection. Through this partnership, OBEETEE will support hundreds of nonprofit organizations across the country combating HIV/AIDS through preventive education, treatment, research, direct care, and advocacy. New York based Indian designer Tina Ramchandani and Reeta Gyamlani are also among the shortlisted designers.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Rudra Chhaterjee, Chairman, OBEETEE, said, ?Since OBEETEE began nearly 100 years ago; we have made solid commitments to the social, economic, and environmental impacts of our business on the community. The DIFFA ?Specify with Care? program is a great opportunity for the company to contribute to the efforts of the US design community to fight AIDS. We are a creative company at our core, so we are honored to have very talented designers join us to develop our collection for DIFFA.?

The designs will be available on the OBEETEE Express website which will allow customers to choose from a variety of colors, view the rugs in various room settings and print or email the sample to clients. Ten percent of the net sales from the DIFFA Collection will go to DIFFA regardless of the color selections.
