New Delhi, 29th April, 2017: The first day of India Runway Week saw the collections showcased by the students of Vaatsaalyaa Charitable Trust for Education.
The first day of the fashion carnival went houseful where young talented designers showcased their skills and passion. With a unique concept, Vaatsaalyaa Charitable Trust for Education gave the young college students the platform that every designer dreams of.
Weaving together a story for fashion designers from across India, the India Runway Week (IRW) is the platform uplifting young talent and bringing together fashion enthusiasts.
The Thyagraj stadium in the Indian capital, New Delhi, was bustling with people from the fashion fraternity. A three-day fashion event brought together fashion designers, retailers, bloggers, and students under one roof.
The first day of the event saw the collections by the three winners- Yashfa, Simran and Himanshi Koli of the DsyN BlooM contest organized by Vaatsaalyaa Charitable Trust for Education.
The event which started today is showcasing the ?Summer Edition 2017? with some acclaimed and upcoming designers.
Designer Himanshi presented collection on inspiration with a very global approach, Designer Yashfa on Nature representing distinct insect silhouettes and Designer Simran presented her collections on beauty.

Mr.Kappil Kishore,Chairman,Vaatsalya Charitable Trust, said,? Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only, fashion is about the ideas and the collections showed by these students reflects the same. Platform like India Runway Week is a bloom for these young talented students who have lot of potential and calibre. We are proud to be associated with IRW.

Vaatsaalyaa organised the DsyN BlooM contest to unearth hidden talent at different fashion institutes and provide them a global stage which were picked by a jury comprising fashion photographer Rohit Suri,Sonia Jetley, Niket Mishra, Manish Tripathi, Rohini Gugnani, and Megha & Jigar.

Organised by the Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD), the three-day fashion event will come to an end on Sunday.
