Rome D'Marco Joins Drake and Rae Sremmurd on Digtracks Hip Hop Charts

BROOOKLYN, N.Y. - Nov. 23, 2016 -- On November 1, 2016 Rome D'Marco released his debut album "Black Hoody Gold Chain Rap" in digital stores worldwide, launching a new distribution deal with Forbes Music Entertainment. A music video for the album's intro track also titled "Black Hoody Gold Chain Rap" was released on September 27, 2016. It was featured on the The Source, The Hype Magazine, This Is 50 and more.

Deciding to roll Black Hoody Gold Chain Rap out as the lead single, D'Marco and his team launched a global marketing plan intertwined with a national marketing plan targeting all major U.S. cities. To do this they had to employ the world's best dj's and make a play for initial charting. Today (November 23) D'Marco finds himself in a great position, ranked at No.46 on the digtracks weekly hip hop chart. [reference:digtracks.com/ranking]

Due to the overwhelming amount of competition in the hip hop market, this is not something that is easily maintained or improved upon. Forbes Music Entertainment - no stranger to these charts with over 20 charting singles; 13 of which made the top 20 - has high hopes that D'Marco will continue the trend and maybe even make their second No.1 single of 2016.

D'Marco is also the owner of his own label Itchy Palm Entertainment. Black Hoody Gold Chain Rap represents the first charting single in his labels history, and one he hopes to follow up with many others. D'Marco however, has his sights set on another chart. His main goal is to break into the Billboard hot 100 and follow in the footsteps of many other successful artists from his native city of Brooklyn, New York.
