Nostalgia has rebounded the popularity of using jingles in advertising according to Haley Steed, outreach/SEO specialist at the online marketing firm Direct Online Marketing. Audio drives consumer recall when it comes to advertising and a jingle is uniquely identifiable.
The use of music and jingles in marketing has proven to help create product image and brand image in order to promote products and make them memorable for consumers, according to research done in coordination with the Institute of Marketing Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Phinney Ridge Productions was developed by vocalist, instrumentalist and producer Terry Lauber, and it has been creating award-winning music advertising for businesses throughout the Northwest and extended throughout the world for more than 30 years. Terry Lauber is one of the most hired vocalists, instrumentalists and producers in the Pacific Northwest. He has performed on more than 3,000 paid recording sessions and more than 350 CD/LP projects.
