Noida, September, 2016: Ananda, one of the largest milk producers in India was featured in the full-page ad in Hindustan Times on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi to forward the greetings of Lord Ganapati.

The ad published on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganesha Chaturdashi is a Hindu festival celebrated with fun and devotion across India. Ganesh Chaturthi is a ten-day Hindu festival celebrated to honor the elephant-headed God Ganesha's birthday. During the 10 days of GaneshaJanmothsava, Vedic hymns, Ganapati AtharvaShrishaUpanishad and GaneshaSootrasfrom NaradaPurana are chanted.

Ganesha is worshiped as the holi God of new beginning. His name is chanted to gain fortunes. People keep the idol or the image of Ganesha at their doorstep to get positive vibrations in their house.

The festival begins on BhadrapadShukla Chaturthi, which is the fourth day of the waxing moon period.

During the festival, colourful pandals (temporary shrines) are setup and the Lord is worshiped for ten days.

While offering 21 necessities to the God, worshippers also chant ?Om GanpateNamah' and offer ladoo as the bhogprasad. By doing this you will attract luck and prosperity.
