The CEO and founder of The Cottages Senior Living talks about the complete renovation of The Cottages at Quail Creek in Amarillo, Texas.

With all-new kitchens and bathrooms, the Amarillo residences offer a home-like atmosphere and individualized, expert care for those living with Alzheimer?s disease and other memory disorders. The Cottages at Quail Creek is a fully licensed, 32-bed assisted living facility, with Alzheimer?s Care Certification by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.

The 6811 Plum Creek Drive facility has undergone extensive renovations over the past few months. With the recent completion of phase two (new bathrooms and kitchens), the home has received a whole new, updated look. To show off its new look, The Cottages at Quail Creek is now offering tours daily.

The Cottages at Quail Creek is also pleased to announce our new executive director, Margaret Parrish. Her passion is working with seniors living with physical or cognitive impairments that might make it difficult for them to remain home alone or for their families to provide care. ?I am extremely proud to work for a community that specializes only in the care of dementia and Alzheimer?s,? says Parrish,?Our caregivers are specifically trained to work with cognitively impaired individuals and our care is overseen by licensed nurses.?
