Rat Busters proudly announces Matthew Rosen, one of their valued rat removal technicians, earned his Limited Commercial Wildlife Management (LCWM) Certification. Upon taking and passing the exams, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services granted Mr. Rosen the certification. Mr. Rosen can now professionally and legally remove or trap rats and mice in, on or under commercial structures in Boca Raton and other surrounding areas.

As the appointed agency for ensuring the protection of the environment and the safety of every Floridian, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services requires that all pest control and animal control business in Florida must get their license through them. The Structural Pest Control Act dictates that operators must be certified in the category in which the business operates in. Each employee must be of age and pass the written examination given by the agency. Moreover, they have to qualify for the exams based on their experience and education.

Additionally, after passing the exams, each animal control professional must also provide proof of insurance to indicate that their respective employers meet the minimum financial responsibility both for bodily injury and property damages. Only then will the certificate be issued. As of now, insurance amounts are set at $250,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury while the amounts for property damage are set at $250,000 per occurrence and $500,000 in the aggregate for the company.

The Limited Commercial Wildlife Management Certification doesn?t only qualify the professional for trapping of rats or mice. This could also extend to other nuisance wildlife that may find their way inside business facilities such as opossums, armadillos, squirrels, raccoons and skunks.
