The First IFLC Event In India Received Both Love And Applause

At the 14th International Festival of Language & Culture (IFLC 2016), more than 400 students from 17 nations of different languages and cultures get assembled at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on the premise Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - The world is one family to ascertain global peace and cultural harmony. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Najma Heptullah (Minister of Minority Affairs) in the august presence of Acharya Balkrishna (Managing Director Patanjali), Swami Agnivesh, Mr. Ersin Karaoglan
President of IFLC and many other distinguished personalities.

In the welcome speech, Mr. Ersin Karaoglan said, ?IFLC plants a field of harmony and understanding between the people, no matter from which culture, language, religion you are, but we have so many commonalities to share. We believe that these ideas will be harvested in the future as friendship and universal peace.?

Students from 17 countries namely India, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Hungary, US-TX, Georgia and Russia enthused the audience with their colourful performances of songs and dances. They all sung the national anthem ?Jan Gan Man Adhinayak? with full of devotion and respect. Moreover, the choir ?Colours of the World? by the students of India, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan wove a magic spell in the stadium.

Dr. Najma Heptullah welcomes the IFLC in India and she motivated the students as well as organisers in the following words.? I am amazed to see the spirit of these young students, in fact, they are the real emissaries of peace, who represents not a country or state, but the entire universe. Besides, the commitment shown by the Educational Endowment Trust is really a benchmark for other organisations working in this direction.

43 students and 18 mentors from abroad and more than 350 students from various reputed schools of Delhi namely Springdale?s School, The Frank Antony Public School, Ahlcon International School, Mata Guruji School, Tagore International School and Bluebells International School made the event vivaciously colourful with their brilliant performances. They truly translated the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - The world is one family, through their songs and dances.

In the closing speech Mr. Bilal Acikgoz, one of the coordinators of IFLC 2016, said, ?We believe that understanding of different languages and cultures helps us understand each other better, and that is the motive behind IFLC.?
