SAB TV?s popular show Taarak Mehta KaOoltahChashmah has added another feather to its cap, by securing its place in the Limca book of World Records. The show has been titled as the ?Longest running comedy show? on television. It is a very proud moment for the entire cast of the show to be recognized in the world and to complete a remarkable journey. The show started in 2008, is still going strong and is one of the most watched and favorite shows among all age groups.

Produced by Neela Tele Films and created by Asit Kumar Modi, Taarak Mehta KaOoltahChashma is based on the column Duniya Ne OondhaChashma written by journalist and columnist Taarak Mehta for a weekly Gujarati magazine Chitralekha. The show also recently completed 1900 episodes and the team wishes to achieve many such milestones.
