Bringing baseballs into the lives of the kids has always been their prime motto. In a bid to take their vision a step further, BB4BC.org announces fundraiser in association with The Bridgeport Bluefish in a bid to raise money so that the NGO can help the underprivileged kids to play the game of baseball. The fundraiser event is to be held on May 7, 2016 at Harbor Yard Stadium, Bridgeport, CT. The game will be between Bridgeport Bluefish and Long Island Ducks. One can bring new as well as used base balls and all of it will be used for the kids who are not fortunate enough to be able to afford to play baseball. BaseBalls 4 a Better Community is a reputed NGO that takes pride in having both businesses and individuals who believe in their cause and are proud to show their support. It all started when Connor Bailo, a 14 year old from Trumbull, CT took the initiative of improving the lives of underprivileged kids who love the game of baseball. While many people are willing to donate bats, gloves, and cleats, that type of equipment can all be outgrown quickly, not many are found to donate baseballs. In a bid to fill up this gap, Connor Bailo takes the bid to collect baseballs which are the essential piece of the game, can never be outgrown, and can even last a lifetime.
When a little deed can change fate of hundreds of kids, the initiative by Connor Bailo claims appreciation. With several endorsements from hundreds of businesses and corporate firms, BaseBalls 4 a Better Community continues to grow every single day.
BaseBalls 4 a Better Community collects new and slightly worn baseballs as well as financial donations to help purchase baseballs. With the aim of collecting 1,000,000 baseballs in order to make childrens dream of playing baseball, BaseBalls 4 a Better Community ensures such a future where thousands of kids will be able to play baseball.
