The author of debut novel '[Eden Undone]' has been invited to do a book tour of the USA, it has been announced.

The tour, which was entirely conceived and organised by fans, will begin this week in NYC before progressing to Memphis, Dallas and finally Washington DC.

Anna Lindsay, the British author of 'Eden Undone', says €œIt seems appropriate that my visit will coincide with Mothers' Day celebrations, given that Eve - a central character of the novel - might be considered to be the ultimate mother. Readers have already said that this novel is unique, thought-provoking, edgy, powerful and inspirational, so we are hugely excited to meet some of its American fans, and introduce this tale to others."

The book, which has been described as €œa once-in-a-lifetime novel", has also been favourably compared to C.S.Lewis' 'Narnia' stories, suitable for young and old. The fantasy retelling of the first few chapters of Genesis asks the question: €œIf Genesis were literal, what might have happened if Eve had said no?" Author Anna Lindsay is excited about the book's potential. €œThis is a timeless book with universal appeal. Its youngest reader so far was 8 years old; the oldest of whom I'm aware was 95 at the time. Readers from across the spectrum have left glowing reviews, and contacted me privately to say how deeply this gentle tale has impacted them."

The fact that readers across the world raised more than the target sum for a recent [crowdfunding](http://igg.me/at/eden-undone) appeal to become part of the novel's journey, and that the appeal is still open to contributions as a result, says much for the book. Indeed, such is the enthusiasm for the tale that the idea for the tour itself, and its organisation, was spontaneously put in place by a fan.

Anna Lindsay continues: €œEden Undone makes readers laugh, cry, and hope. And it stays with them long after the last page has been turned. Visiting the States now for readings, signings, and talks will give people the rare opportunity of meeting the author and hearing more - and providing me in turn with the wonderful privilege of meeting Eden Undone's readers in person."

The two big concerns, the organiser T.Haggerty admits, is that with such glowing reviews, there may not always be seats available. And that the American distributors might run out of copies brought over from the UK. €œIt's going to be a case of first come, first served!"
