The whole of Patiala turns up in hundreds for the shoot of &TVs Waaris

They say Punjabis have the biggest heart when it comes to hospitality and extending help to others. Ask the cast and crew of &TVs Waaris who were recently in Patiala and experienced their Khatirdari first hand.

&TVs soon to be launched drama Waaris was shooting in the beautiful city of Patiala. Actors Iqbal Khan, Aarti Singh and Akshay Dogra were part of the shoot. Usually, when as serial crew shoots outdoor, they try to keep it discreet in order to avoid chaos on sets but the news soon leaked out and the entire city of Patiala turned up to catch a glimpse of the stars. A little birdie from the sets reveals, It felt like the entire town was present for the shoot. People had left their work and lined up outside the sets to watch the shooting. But, they created no disturbance whatsoever for the crew. Infact, they were extremely helpful and made us feel like one amongst their own. It was a great experience.

Waaris is set in the backdrop of Punjab and will dwell upon how male child in the family are given more importance than the girl child.
