The most awaited Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2016 is here and whats even more exciting is that the king of fashion designing, Manish Malhotra has kick started this show in the most spectacular way.

From captivating ensembles to sensational capes, it was all shown in his latest spring-summer collection titled Elements. Moreover, his favorite muses, Arjun Kapoor and were the show-stopper of the show.

One day before the show he turned to Twitter to announce about Lakme Fashion Week:

This time, his work was enlivened by nature and its components earth, water, wind and fire.

Manish Malhotra said that since his show was devoted to commend the vibe of summer, models walked the ramp wearing garments generally in shades of blue and white.

The show began with the soothing pastel tints and ended with the earth blues and greens; the clothes were beautifully mixed with conventional Indian outlines and modern components. As guaranteed, lehengas also made its way with trains and capes.

Arjun Kapoor thanked Manish Malhotra for his contribution in Bollywood. Several top notch stars such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dia Mirza, Sangeeta Bijlani, Sooraj Pancholi, Farah Khan, Shriya Saran, Pernia Qureshi, Ashish Chaudhry and Zoya Akhtar were present at the event to cheer this ace fashion designer.

Manish Malhotra made a mark on the runway with his total capricious and superb imagination.

Lakme Fashion Week will present the work of 90 outstanding designers including Anita Dongre, Neeta Lulla, Nikhil Thampi, Monisha Jaising, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Nishka Lulla and Masaba Gupta and it lasts till April 3.
