David Aronberg receives first Hatfields and McCoys Foundation Peace Prize

For his ?Enlightened Peace Keepin? in These Here Parts,? State Attorney David Aronberg receives first Hatfields and McCoys Foundation Peace Prize Saturday from Foundation Founder Judy Hatfield at the once-infamous clan?s First Annual Shindig here. The Peace Prize was presented in recognition for Dave?s combining rehabilitation and punishment in creating for Palm Beach County one of the most effective anti-DUI programs in the country. Event featuring everything from vintage shotguns, country cookbooks and moonshine was held at G-Star School For The Arts where many members of the famous families attended peacefully in traditional country attire. Their generational feuding has become a part of American folklore, but having now resulted in peace and friendship provides a vivid example that if Hatfields and McCoys can become friends, the worst and bitterest enemies in the world can follow suit.
